I’m interested in the connection or the possibilty of a connection between energy and anxiety. Please describe your anxiety attacks as deeply as possible. Also, give your thoughts on what you think is causing your anxiety. Thank you :)

There is definetly a connection between energy, or more specifically adrenaline, and anxiety / nervousness. I have dealt with severe anxiety for almost 5 years now and have learned, at least to a point, to use the adrenaline rush / anxiety to my advantage. As long as I do something physical to burn off some of the adrenaline I can usually keep the anxiety at bay. Strange as it sounds this can come in handy, considering that I am in the construction field. When the anxiety is bad, I can get twice as much work done as I can on a ‘normal’ day. A positive by-product of a big work day like this is that with all that adrenaline used up, my anxiety will be virtually non-existant for a few days.
When I had my first big panic / anxiety attack I almost couldn’t function. It was at a time when I was having financial problems and my business was failing, and I finally got to a point that I called my doctor and told him I thought I was having a nervous breakdown. I will admit for a period of time I was heavily medicated but in the years since then I have learned how to keep it 90% in check by limiting my caffiene intake, getting plenty of sleep, and of course keeping busy or working out to keep the adrenaline levels down. I do have one medication that I only take as needed if I feel a panic / anxiety attack coming on, but I am off all other daily medications.
Believe me, anxiety can be devastating, and the last few years have been a long haul, but I finally have it under control.
    Hope this info helps you.

Ive had anxiety since i was really young.
I dont really know what causes my anxiety, i honestly just think i was born that way, born anxious!
My anxiety used to stem around taking tests, even though i get straight A’s, my test anxiety would be pretty ridiculous. My head would feel really “hot”, i couldnt eat, and i would just start “freaking out” before i was handed a test and start talking A LOT! I would feel nauseous too!
But then recently it got worse, where everything was making me anxious and then i would automatically throw up!
Especially w/ dating, i had really bad panic attacks, where i would have to go throw up! it was awful, im on Zoloft now!

But actually I get really tired when im stressed out, i never lose sleep when im stressed, i just sleep way too much!!! i dont know what that means though!

    i hope this helps!
