Why would a person get shooting pain up the back of the head in several places at the same time? ?

It sounds like you may have a strained neck.
the head pains or w.e could be u pinchin a nerve, i went to the docs and thts wat he said..
so be careful, u get could become paralyzed

If it’s persistent (e.g., going on for a couple weeks), see a doctor about it.
