I **** my anxiety. My symptoms for it is feeling sick, feeling like about to vomit, light headed, dizzy, and feeling out of this world. It makes me not enjoy life as much as I use to! Any of you people also **** your anxiety and what do you feel when you have an attack.

Practice breathing, meditation, and focusing your mind in the present moment.
Anxiety attacks are a conditioned response the body gives as a result of continued worry, often in fact coming during a moment of relaxation.
The body is best equipped to react to true fear, that is, if we are about to get hit by a car, our bodies immediately send forth a flush of chemicals and hormones, our hearts race, and we dive out of the way. We never think to question all this activity in our bodies until it happens when there is no car, or no sign of trouble.
Our minds are powerful. We can worry for days, weeks, months, and years, constantly sending stressful messages to the body. The body, unable to react, feels stress. Eventually, if our thinking goes unchecked, the body will eventually try to react by periodically releasing chemicals. The heart can pound, race, skip beats, and a whole entire range of physical sensations can be experienced, just as if real danger is present.
The remedy is to return to the present moment. Focus 100% attention on primary experience – what can only be seen with the eyes, or heard with the ears, etc. Do not let your mind wander on fantasy thoughts, or various abstract desires, or what will happen tomorrow, or if you will die. Just breathe deeply, and know you are breathing. Keep your mind only in the moment. Try to stay away from TV, the internet, the phone, and newspapers as much as possible.
I dont get the chest pains, or the difficulty breathing. I get the chills, and all the blood rushes to my head and I feel like something is going to pop. Ill also get the hot flashes. Ive had a catscan, ekg, and blood pressure tests and they all came back normal. I used to take Lexapro which really helped me, and xanax if I cant control an attack. Otherwise I’ll breathe in through my nose and count to 7, and then breathe out through my mouth and count to 7 for about 5 minutes or so, and the attack usually tapers off.
