bamafleck asked: I stuggle with anxiety. I worry about stuff all the time that’s really stupid to even think about. It’s really bad when I have to meet new people or walk in front of a crowd. I have no reason to be insecure, but I am. How did you get past this? I hear xanax works, but I know benzos are addictive. Is there any way without medication. Self-help books don’t work for me. This really holds me back from doing the stuff I want to accomplish. Personal experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Objective Faith asked: I used to be very shy/insecure/anxious, and I had no idea how to fix it. So, I went to a psychiatrist and she placed me on an anti-pyschotic (what she calls “ego-glue, as it collects the mind). After switching medicines and doses COUNTLESS times, I realized the cause of shyness/insecurity/anxiety.
Shyness/insecurity/anxiety is caused by psychosis – psychosis is the ailment that produces these symptoms.
Basically, to be psychotic is to be mostly mind (identify as mind) with one’s SELF within, masked by the mind. To be normal (correct) is to be mostly self (identify as self) with one’s MIND within, masked by the self.
Now that I’m normal (not psychotic), I have no shyness/insecurity/anxiety. If you have any of these, you are technically psychotic, as it’s not natural to have these symptoms if in a normal state – an anti-psychotic would cure you of all these symptoms.
Observing, I’d say about 1/2 of the world is sane (normal), 1/4 is in between, and 1/4 is psychotic.
Your comments?
The reason one is shy/insecure/anxious is due to having one’s “head in the clouds,” aka being out of touch with reality (psychotic).

ariella asked: i’m trying to help my mom. over the holiday, her computer broke. i was fixing it (and i knew i’d be able to fix it, it would just take time) but she got SO STRESSED out it was extremely unrealistic. she was extremely agitated and kept saying that it was stressing her out so badly she felt sick and couldn’t relax. she was agitated for the 3 hours that it took me and said she couldn’t handle the stress of it happening again.
sometimes she gets like this. she just doesn’t know how to deal with stress at all. is this considered an anxiety disorder? she isn’t generally anxious and doesn’t have difficulty sleeping or have the major symptoms of full blown attacks. if not, what would it be called, just not handling stress well? what is a good way to help her? any good books about this? thank you!
hi, i will clarify: my mom really had no reason to be stressed out. she barely uses the internet and has dial up. they basically check email and she has access to that every day at her office anyway. that’s what was so strange about it!

Over the past few years its been getting worse, to the point now where im constantly nervous. Its beginning to interfere with my life and my grades have dropped. Now suddenly tonight i just began to cry for no reason. I’m 16 years old and both my mom and uncle have depression. Should i go see a doctor?
