I have suffered for years from debilitating lower back pain, and doctors only recommend pills or surgery. It comes and goes, but as of recent it has been really bad, cause stabbing pains in my lower sides, tingling in my toes, and hindering my range of motion greatly. He is a 5 yr. old Austrailan Shepherd that can get very excited and anxious. I adopted him from an abuse shelter and the previous owner had him on anxiety pills but I stopped giving them to him because I thought he wouldn’t be himself. Was I wrong to do that? Should I put him back on the meds?

I feel like I am messed up for life.Yesterday I found out that 1 of the pills I took was also antidepressent med. Dr. priscribed it for me for lack of sleep. So I thought it was a sleeping pill. I took 2 other antidepressent pills around the same time. I was never depressed or did I have anxiety attacks to begin with. I never understood people who were depressed because I was never in that situation. But stupid me I had to call the clinic because I had frequent periods. The nurse asked me what am I waiting for & to go see the doctor ASAP. So I went to the imergancy. They gave me provera for 2 weeks. I started experiening bad side effects the next day I took it. But I didn’t tell anybody. Because I didn’t know or research that this medication would have side effects. I had bad thoughts. So I went back again to the Dr. they gave me 3 other antidepressents. I stopped them in 3 months of taking them. Soon after I got pregnant. Now I still have bad symptoms. I am missarable.

I think it is anxiety. But I really don’t wanna get more pills unless it is the last option I have. Is there something else that I can do first before I try going towards the pills or therapy?

Most of the time, no matter what, I’m anxious, nervous, paranoid, worry too much about others and not myself, and have a bit of social anxiety.

What kind of pills should I have my doctor prescribe to me? Should I get therapy? This has been going on for a couple of years and don’t want it to get worse.

I have a friend who is hooked in xanax. I mean she is always complaining to me about how she is so depressed and can’t even function. I mean I had depression too, but not that bad. I mean half of my family and friends seems like they are hooked on pills! Do you think it is all in thier head
