Is there a cure for yawning dog?

February 6th, 2011

lta-me asked:

I recently asked what caused my dog to yawn all the time and I received many good answers, but I forgot to ask if there is a cure to combat this problem? He is a 5 yr. old Austrailan Shepherd that can get very excited and anxious. I adopted him from an abuse shelter and the previous owner had him on anxiety pills but I stopped giving them to him because I thought he wouldn’t be himself. Was I wrong to do that? Should I put him back on the meds?

Bi-polar,OCD,Severe Anxiety and Methamphetamine?

August 3rd, 2010

Dylan M asked:

I am diagnosed with all the things stated above and i have tried Methamphetamine in low doses around 5-10mg and noticed that i wasnt completly overwhelmed with Racing thoughts or OCD and my anxiety seemed to diminish a huge amount. I have been on a huge amount of medications but never a phsycostimulant like meth or the legal versions like desoxyn, adderall, dexadrine, or ritalin. Quite frankly i like the calmness and it seems like an excellent cure to alot of my problems but at the same time would a doctor EVER prescribe such medications for me? also i dont exactly want to tell my phsychiatrist that i have done this drug. At the same time it doesnt make much sence as to why this worked i honestly thought that it would make me go manic and send my OCD and anxiety over the edge but it did the complete opposite is there a reason for this? Yes i know meth is bad and all that and i just did it as a one time thing but it felt great not to feel like i always do. If i wanted to get a stimulant how should i go about asking my doc for one? should i leave out the truth and just suggest that i be put on a stimulant although from research i highly dout it would ever happen unless i told him that it helped a great deal but at the same time in order to tel him it helped i would have to say that i did a stimulant. so what should i do here? and please PLEASE no lectures on how bad meth is i am aware also dont worry i will never do it again i just wanted to try for the sake of seeing if it helped at all because i was always curious and the meds i have been on are not working at all and ive been suffering for around 3 years now trying almost every medication available including ALL benzodiazapines to alot of anti-phsychotics and every single SSRI.

Will I ever be okay and not so stressed?

April 29th, 2010

LAME! asked:

I’ve recently taken on anxiety and depression because of school. I have nightmares about school all the time now, and i just get this scared feeling in my gut about school and stressing out. I’m so tired of feeling so scared all the time. I feel like my case of anxiety depression is different from everyone else and that it can’t be cured with meds. Is there hope for me? I just want to feel like there’s someone out there who could help me.

Do you ever think there will be a cure?

April 20th, 2010

southpark asked:

A cure for Panic Disorder? And by cure, I mean a way for doctors to be able to correct the chemical imbalances in us other than through meds. I want to be able to have anxiety and panic, but not to the extend of a panic attack or the excessive worrying.

How do you help someone having panic attacks?

December 19th, 2009

RidnOnNeons asked:

I know someone who has been having panic attacks for 2 weeks now! They have already been to the doctor and diagnosed now I guess it’s just a waiting game for the meds to kick in. Anyway since they have been having them she doesn’t want to be alone. If she is for the smallest amount of time then she freaks out. Should someone always be there with her or should she be better off getting over it herself? She feels as though she CONSTANTLY needs someone there during the day! Is this even normal for a panic attack?
