Could my hormones be causing me to have anxiety/panic attacks?

I had a hysterectomy a yr ago in June, but I still have my ovaries. I have been getting anxiety/panic attacks since april. I have had my thyroid checked and it is fine. I am wondering if my hormones are going crazy, would that cause panic attacks?
