Tony Pavese asked: Irrational fears of anxiety disorder symptom always seems to hit many individuals which causes increases in both breathing and heart rates as well as chills and sweats. The anxiety disorder symptoms and the severity of each symptom can and will vary from one individual to another. These symptoms seem to appear while the individual may be experiencing an irrational fear that comes on with no warning signs. Although, suffers commonly fear the suffering of another panic attack their personal triggers will and can vary. For people who suffer from such attacks it is similar or as familiar as suffering the symptoms of a heart attack; however, the statistics of dying from a panic attack are very slim.
The first time it happens it is confusing and distressful. Healing comes with understanding what a panic attack is and that you are not alone in experiencing the symptoms of a panic attack. There are multitudes of people who suffer their own personal episodes relating to panic disorders and anxiety disorder symptom. However, when it does occur many individuals associate it with the place or surrounding of the occurrence, people or even objects they were in contact with at the time. Then the pattern involves the fear of experiencing another episode of panic attack.
Unfortunately, many people who suffer with some type of anxiety disorder symptom or another often do not seek assistance for rehabilitating the problem. However, there are various types of anxiety disorder treatments and therapies available for those who experience the distressing and discomfortable feelings that accompany panic attacks. Rehabilitation is possible with therapy medications, relaxation techniques, behavioral therapy and breathing techniques. These treatments aid in realizing that there is no need to fear the symptoms.
One means of overcoming a anxiety disorder symptom is realizing that the situation can be handled and that one is able to calm themselves into a more balanced and relaxed state. The increase of breathing and heart rate are common factors that can be addressed, calmed and then balanced. For instance, learning various relaxation techniques are helpful. Relaxing the shoulders when the sensation of a panic attack begins aids in the awareness of tension and then learning how to relieve the tension by relaxing the entire body is essential. Learning breathing techniques are useful. For instance, the breathing can be slowed down by simply puffing air out of the mouth as if blowing the flame from a birthday candle.
Coming to terms with the condition, learning the personal triggers and the anxiety disorder symptom and then realizing that there is no need to fear the symptom of anxiety is essential in the healing and rehabilitation aspects of living with a panic disorder and panic attacks. Of course, there are other treatments and therapies that are useful for the symptoms associated with anxiety disorder. It is recommendable to consult with your personal physician when you suffer from panic attacks.

Tox asked: I have been sore throughout my body on-and-off the past few days. My legs hurt sometimes (my thighs), my back sometimes, my neck and jaw sometimes, my stomach sometimes and my arms sometimes.
I don’t have any other symptoms. Somtimes I feel nauseated but not too often. I take levothyroixine for my hypothyroidism.
I went to the ER the other night and they took an EKG and chest x-ray and they apparently came back normal. They said that my heart rate for my EKG was high but that it was normal since I went in with the symptoms of an anxiety attack. Also, when I first went in, my blood pressure was high but has since gone back down to normal. The doc even listened to my heart and said that everything was fine.
Has anybody else had symptoms like this? What should I do? My father had cardiomyopathy and it freaks me out that I am getting it. Any advice helps!
I am a 24-year-old male. The doc said that I was too young to have a heart attack.

harmonyplz asked: For years now I have been having problems off and on. At first I thought I could be having a heart trouble…then because of my age..(33) .many people have told me that the symptoms I am experiencing is probably anxiety or panic attacks. After a couple of years of these symptoms these problems seem to be getting worse. I am going to explain what I go through and if anyone has any idea at all what this could be PLEASE let me know. I know I am going to get a lot of answers telling me to see a doctor…but the plain fact is I don’t have health insurance…I am on unemployment and can not afford to see the doctor…so short of me having a heart attack there is probably no chance of me going to the doctor. Just knowing what this might be would help me greatly then I could look to home remedies and or lifestyle changes to make it better.
Most of these symptoms happen at night…when I lie down for bed…I am not sleeping yet but just getting relaxed…usually my eyes are closed and and then all of a sudden I experience blood rushing all through my body…I feel the rush from the center part of my chest to my head and down my arms and legs. My hands and feet start to tingle. I feel almost as if I am falling or about to lose consciousness…almost like I am going to black out. I feel like I could stop breathing and even sometimes I sit straight up in bed to take a gulp of air. Usually during these times I check my blood pressure and it is kind of high…not to high..but last night my readings were 147/90. There is a tightness in my chest and some pressure but not pain really. Just discomfort. Sometimes it feels like I am choking or my throat closing in…I even feel fluid coming into my throat sometimes and find it hard to swallow. I do have chronic heartburn but usually not in the evening. Sometimes I feel very dizzy or lightheaded and sometimes my feet go numb as if I am having circulation issues. Other times I have a dull pain in my upper left chest area almost in front of my shoulder..above my ****** and I feel like I have to move my arm and shoulder around to work out the tightness.
These symptoms have been happening to me for a few years now…sometimes I can go months without having them other times I have them every night for months. I truly don’t believe I am having anxiety attacks even though the symptoms are similar…quite frankly I am not an anxious person…I am very laid back and take things as they come. I do not overly worry about things and I am not generally stressed out.
I really hope someone out there can point me in the right direction. I am a mother of two boys and really don’t want to go to bed one night and never wake up…I am scared…and I know I need to get ot the DR’s but I just can’t afford it. Please if anyone knows what this is let me know. Thanks so much!
Forgot to mention heart palpatations and flutters too.

lv82 asked: I had what I think was an anxiety attack, I’ve had mild ones before. However, I had shooting pains down my arm everytime I’d try to breath. And the pain was 10x worse, I couldn’t even move. I know that is a symptom of a heart attack. However, It was down my right shoulder & arm, isn’t it only if it’s down your left side? I’m going in to see my Dr today. But I thought I’d check if anyone knows….

Brandon P asked: I have them a lot and worry that the symptoms I’m feeling are really a heart attack. So that just makes me panic more. Or I’ll worry about getting stomach aches, which will in turn CAUSE them and thus create a cycle of panic. Any tips?
