Little One asked: I suffered from Anxiety and Panic attacks for about three years. About 5 months ago i was able to come off of the medication i was taking. I was doing perfectly for those 5 months off the meds. But all of a sudden i had a whole bunch of stress fall onto my shoulders and my panic attacks have returned. I am looking for natural ways to rid of this disorder. If you know of any, or have beat it yourself, please, please help. This is a horrible way to live your life. I dont want to depend on medicine, especially when it doesnt cure you, just keeps you as is and content. Please share your stories and inspirational words. Any postivity will really help.
Thank you very much.

ak asked: Or sometimes even think about working. It’s two courses in particular. I just get very anxious and panicky, feel completely overwhelmed with what should be easy tasks…. major physical symptoms are shortness of breath, muscle tension, tension headaches, cold hands, sweats, lightheadedness. Try every day to talk sense into myself and it does not work, need help.
If I go to a school counselor and talk to them and get help, can they give a note to my professors informing them of this.. and get me excused/a second chance…
NOT trying to get out of anything.

Abby’s mommy asked: Ok here goes lol. So my anxiety started last summer. I had a couple sporadic anxiety attacks but didn’t realize what they were until I had a horrible one that ended with me in the ER. I was put on medication and had been taking it 3x daily up until I found out I was pregnant. Just about a month or so before I found out I was pregnant I was doing SO well I was on the downhill slope to curing it or atleast being able to deal with it better. So I was off my medication for about 3 months of my pregnancy and was put back on it in the 3rd trimester except to take half of the dose I was taking and only twice a day. This gave me some relief but not much. I guess what gets me the most is that I was finally getting close to being able to live a normal life, make an income, be a good wife until I got pregnant. Now its like I’m back at square one. Did anyone have this sort of thing happen? Not necessarily with pregnancy but something set you back? Did you bounce back and start to recover again? What helped you? Thanks for all your answers I really appreciate it.

Jake M asked:
I’ve been having symptoms of numbness in my upper left arm, my face feels a little numb, I get rapid heart beat, and sometimes hot flashes all randomly throughout the day and at night is when it starts to get a lot worse. I was prescribed Klonopin today. and I was wondering how long it takes to get in your system. I am taking half a miligram breaking the pill in half and taking a half twice a day. I’ve been really scared that something is wrong with me and I was wondering if all the symptoms I listed above are normal to keep happening during the day? Also, I took my Klonopin earlier and it made me feel a bit better and about 3 hours later it was worn off. Does anyone know why? I just need some advise and relief that things are gonna be okay. Half the time I don’t know what to do. I can barely even eat right. I get spasms in my neck when I start to eat. I don’t know. Can anyone give me any advise?

Charnell asked: I’ve always wondered if maybe I have a thyroid issue since I’ve been suffering from brain fog and anxiety/panic attacks for 11 years now. But studying Thyroid dysfunctions, I don’t see all the symptoms matching me, until I found one symptom.
TOLOSA-HUNT.
The symptoms include:
* Headache behind the eyes. CHECK!
* Pains around the jaw. CHECK! (one of my biggest ailments)
* Joint aches. CHECK! (been tasted many times)
* Fever. CHECK! (get it twice a week)
* Paralysis of face muscles. MAYBE. (I feel one eyelid droopier, but no actual paralysis)
* Chronic fatigue. CHECK!
* Double vision. NO.
Is it possible I have Tolosa-Hunt? I am Swedish, and I only know the English name, and thus I don’t know how to ask for it to my doctors. I hope anyone with knowledge of the issue has some ideas.

BeachBoarder asked: I just started getting some attacks and symptoms throughout my days and I googled it and all these people are saying they’ve suffered for years with disabling anxiety and you just have to learn to live with it… which of course has made me even more freaked out. I don’t even want to live if I have to deal with this! I would never actually do anything suicidal but this is making me very depressed.
Any success stories? Preferably not from using drugs but cognitive behavior therapy or something else?
