chiller203xx asked: Many times, when I go to the beach I get an extreme pain in my back. It usually happens when I drink. It does not happen every time though. It has happened multiple times in Ocean city, MD, Myrtle beach, Virginia beach, and cancun. It does not seem to happen when I am home. Does anyone have some kind of explanation for the pain and its links to the beach and alcohol.
As a side note, I got my kidneys checked by my doctor and he said they were fine. He does not know why my back does this.

human being asked:
I had an epidural, but the pain seemed to start before that and get progressively worse. The doctors did not seem to know what to do. They reluctantly gave me some type of pain killer before my C-section (they didn’t want it to affect the baby). The doctors/nurses guessed it was from the epidural or the baby pressing on a nerve. Has anyone had this? I’m afraid to have another baby! (I also had lower back pain for a good week after labor.)
My baby was face up.
The epidural did work on the lower part of my body.

P a u l a ??? asked: Well I am 17 weeks pregnant and I’ve been experiencing severe back pain. It’ll like come out of no where. At first I thought it was because i was doing too much and being too active, but even if i stay home and relax it’ll come. I’ve also had some cramping in my lower abdomen. I’ve went to the doctors and they told me that it was normal. They didn’t really tell me how to solve it though. Any ideas?

??ow asked: My bed is 5 years old and because I always sleep in the middle of it, it has a shallow dip which causes my back to be aligned crooked when I sleep and I have lower and upper back pain from it.
What can I do? The mattress is not flippable.

Ben O asked:
I’m quite physically capable, but I’ve always had lower back pain from doing tasks like working on a car engine (bending over with my head under the bonnet for hours at a time) and playing golf. It seems to be related to muscle inflamation. Is this something that will go away with enough training or am I damaging my back.
(edit) I’m 38 but it seems my back has been like this for at least 10 years.
