I have had it happen on sulfur antibiotics and I am worried about the amoxil causing the same thing.

you can have a panic attack at any time, they are not caused by antibiotics of any kind. the cause of any panic attack is in the brain, not in medications.

Right, panic attacks occur in the brain. Since they really freak you out, it’s common to try and figure out what was going on when you had one, and try to blame it on that.
So I don’t think antibiotics caused your panic attacks, but when you start to think that it may have, it can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
    Good luck

I don’t think it causes panic attacks. Are you taking anything for your panic disorder? Does your doctor think that antibiotics would counteract the drug?
