kelsey asked:

its only when i sit down to drive my car and it just started yesterday.

when i sit down in my car to drive after about 5 minutes in the back of my right thigh it feels like knives stabbing into it and i have to stop on the side of the road and struggle to get out of my car.

whats wrong with me?

could it be a pinched nerve?
i cant drive at all it hurts so bad!!

but when i stand up the pain goes away.

If its when your sitting down and driving then its probably a nerve pinch. It happens to me when I use the stools in the Media Center on my campus.

Its a nerve pinch in my case too, it usually goes away after some time but its always best to see a doctor.

    Hope this helps!!

this sounds like the siatic nerve (spelled wrong) ..this nerve runs down the back of your leg….i have the same thing.. usually caused when this nerve it pinched due to a buldging disc in your lumbar spine. Alot of times people only experience pain in the leg or legs depending on where the bulge is and do not experience back pain at all…certain stretching exersizes can help…or chiropractor can help do traction to relieve pressure….or sadly you could end up like me ..getting epidural treatments and needing surgery….

Can I simply say what a reduction to search out someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You undoubtedly know how you can convey a difficulty to light and make it important. Extra people have to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more standard because you undoubtedly have the gift.
