Heart attack, anxiety question?

I had what I think was an anxiety attack, I’ve had mild ones before. However, I had shooting pains down my arm everytime I’d try to breath. And the pain was 10x worse, I couldn’t even move. I know that is a symptom of a heart attack. However, It was down my right shoulder & arm, isn’t it only if it’s down your left side? I’m going in to see my Dr today. But I thought I’d check if anyone knows….

Not everyone experiences the same symptoms when they have a heart attack, especially women. Some people have the “classic” symptoms: sharp chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea and/or vomiting, sweating, pain radiating down the left arm and up into the jaw. But some people can have “silent” heart attacks. Just really depends on the person. But definitely see a doctor ASAP.

Could be either one. Did the pain go away after you got your breathing under control? Did the pain only last for a short period of time? If so,I would guess that it was anxiety. However,it is best to see your doctor. Age is not really a factor. Even young people can have heart attacks.
