June 14th, 2010

direfaces asked:

HI.. I have anxiety and I heard that depersonalization can be a symptom… although I feel it even when i’m not anxious…and in between anxiety attacks..infact it makes me more anxious. Is that normal for anxiety sufferers?? Will it go away?

hi i also suffer with anxiety yes the way you feel is down to your anxiety. are you getting any help from your g.p or a therapist? if not it may be a good place to start by seeing your g.p and also ask if you can be referred to a therapist that is trained in COGNITIVE BEHAVIOUR THERAPY also known as c.b.t this helps you to learn to relax and change your way of thinking and your thoughts as they are the root of anxiety problems. hope this helps and keep smiling there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
