Constant Lower Abdomen Pain and Lower Back Pain but no Bleeding during Pregnancy?

October 27th, 2009

kiko asked:

My girlfriend is on her 8th week of pregnancy but she’s been having a constant pain in her lower abdomen and lower back for 5 days now, although it’s bearable most of the time, from time to time, the pain is excruciating. We went to our OB and had a transV and according to our doctor, this is part of pregnancy.

Has anyone experienced this? Is it really normal? I’ve read about miscarriages and she has all the symptoms except bleeding, I’m afraid this will lead to miscarriage.

29 weeks pregnant. Sharp pain on right side of stomach with back pain. Should I go in or no?

October 14th, 2009

Carianne B asked:

I am 29 weeks pregnant. It’s turning into constant pain on my right side. I’m also pretty nauseous with a lot of back pain. I have two other kids and never had this problem. Should I go in or no? I’m not sure if maybe the placenta is detaching. I have already gone into early labor once. Any tips.

I had my daughter 4/2/09. I had an epidural. I am still having terrible back pain 9 moths later. I don’t really want to take pain medication. Is there something I can do to help ease my pain? Also could it be caused from the epidural?

The pain comes only when Im sitting in a car for some reason and it doesnt come that often. Its on the right side over my hip. The best way i could explain it is where you would put your hand to strike a pose lol. Does this have to do anything with my pregnancy?

Pain in back and right side 34 weeks pregnant?

August 8th, 2009

Kasey asked:

Since yesterday i have had pains in my back around to my right side. I don’t think its contractions they would be on both sides right? Been really tired and ill . Baby has been very active as well.Pain isnt associated with any movement. It comes and goes and is not regular, just every few mins. Ive always been induced so i do not know true labor. Any suggestions on to ease the pain besides more pillows is appreciated… Or anyone else with these symptons please share your story…
Went to the doc yesterday. She said relax. But the baby’s head is not down and was 2 weeks ago
Doctor said to relax and get some rest. I am a mother of 3 now so maybe i am doing to much. Anyone know any positions i should be in to help the baby drop his head where its supposed to be and stay there?
