My dog has really bad anxiety when i take him out to walk. He just barks at everything and also shakes like he is scared. Same thing when i take him in the car. He shakes, whines, and bark at passing bikes, motorcycles, or people walking.
Does anyone know of a good dog anxiety remedy i can use for him to calm him down.

lta-me asked:
I recently asked what caused my dog to yawn all the time and I received many good answers, but I forgot to ask if there is a cure to combat this problem? He is a 5 yr. old Austrailan Shepherd that can get very excited and anxious. I adopted him from an abuse shelter and the previous owner had him on anxiety pills but I stopped giving them to him because I thought he wouldn’t be himself. Was I wrong to do that? Should I put him back on the meds?

skydiverusmc asked: His owner rented a room and has lived here for a month, so he is used to the surroundings and my dog. He wines and is going to the bathroom inside while, we are home? How should I stop this behavior? I have scolded him and put his nose in it. I don’t want to have to crate him the whole time but I can’t live with this. Help!

I recently adopted a 2 year old male german shepherd. He barks everytime I leave for work, and would even attempt to hold me back by biting on my hand. Is there a method to help him stop this behavior?

Jenny asked: I know there are plenty of questions about this, but they were all about dogs being destructive when left alone.
My dog, Diesel, is a male German Shepherd&Siebrian Husky.
He’s about a year and a half old.
Everytime my brother or I leave JUST the room, a few seconds later Diesel would start whining&barking. none stop.
We tell him we’ll be back soon&&we try to calm him, but nothing works.
Helppp ?
I cant go out& buy another dog. We dont have enough money to care for two dogs. ://

GothicPandax asked: I just got a puppy from the pound about a week ago. Turns out she can’t stand to be without me. I have to go to school so I put her in a play pen. When I do she rips up the puppy pad I had laid down, howls and cries like she’s in pain and will eventually soil the pen. Then she probably falls asleep.
Even when I put her in the pen and I’m out of eyesight for more then three seconds she’ll start going nuts. She’s even figured out how to jump out of the pen and now if I only dare step away from it she’ll just jump right out, so I’ve had to add a blanket over the top.
At night I have her sleep in her crate by my bed, she seems okay with that but if I leave she’ll start yelping. I can’t put her in the crate if I go out of the house because her food and water bowls can’t fit in it.
The pound had no idea what kind of dog she is, my guess is some sort of Jack Russel Terrier mix judging by her face and wire hair. Not to mention her over the top energy.
I’ve tried giving her something with my scent (an old T-shirt), stuffing a kong toy with treats and leaving her to try and get them out, and just plain ignoring her. But this has got to stop, I want to be able to go around my house or even just to the bathroom without hearing this dog scream.

I have a 12 year old yorkie, or at least that’s what the vet said. She has an anxiety disorder. When people leave our house, she has a fit. She barks, growls, runs after them, and will stand at the door and bark for 3-4 minutes after they’re gone. Is there anything we can do to help her?
