This has been going on since Wednesday evening. Usually if he gets sick he’s better in a couple days. Here it is Sunday morning, and he still has symptoms. He’s been resting and downing fluids. The fever has ranged from normal to 99 degrees. Never that we know of going above 99 degrees. The back pain has been consistent, mostly lower back pain. Today he says it hurts all over. Skin through stomach, chest and back area is sensitive if touched. Also, he’s been very tired and has that “hit by a bus” feeling.

I have the worst pain in my lower back and down my left leg. It hurts when I bend over when I sit and when I lay on my back. It also hurts when I am just standing. Did anyone else experience this and if so what can I do to feel better? Also this is my third pregnancy and I did not have this pain with my other two children although I did have extemely bad back labor with both of them.
I just wanted to add that I am not sitting for long periods and I have two other children who I am very active with.

It could have nothing to do with being pregnant but I am having cramps and lower back pain and my last period was the 26 of December. My next one should be 1/23. So as you can see I’m nowhere near my last or next period. I had *** many times through the week of 1/4 to 1/8. I have chronic back pain and ibs constipation, i heard that doctors are prescribing cymbalta before i go to the doctor i want to make sure of the side effects. i know that doctors wont tell you about it.
cymbalt is a antidepresant but i have friends that they are taking cymbalta for back pain,ibs, migraine and other pain kind of pain. because it relaxes the muscles it helps with the pain also.

I have never had back pain except when I had shingles but the other day i got a crippling pain in my back. I felt like I was going to cry I had to hunch over and could barely get ready for work. It started to feel better when I was on my way to work and then when i got in it was basically gone. What could cause this? (im 19 and have not had any back injury)

I’ve had scoliosis now for about 10 years. I was braced when I was about 11 or 12 but now that i’ve stopped growing i don’t need the brace. I’ve always had back pain and pain in my ribs but now that i’ve had a baby its worse. My lower back and my neck hurts all the time. Is there anything a doctor can do that doesn’t involve surgery? and i’ve tried physical therapy and back stretches…..
