Teeth will remain sensitive after a filling for up to a year. I had the same thing happen.

Pop is actually worse for your teeth than candy because of the acids contained in pop. Coca-Cola can actually dissolve metal, imagine what it does to your teeth!!

Yes. Soda will cause cavities. See below for how it works.

Our dentist told us that pop was the absolute worst thing you could consume for your teeth. It’s liquid sugar and can get into every ***** and crevice and in between as well. He said if you must drink pop at all, rinse with water or ACT after doing so. Also chew gum with Xiotol (sp?) such as Orbit but there are others.

You can even get cavities from diet soda! Any pop/soda that contains PHOSPHORIC ACID will strip your bones and teeth of the vital nutrients they need to be strong – calcium & magnesium.
Blue Sky Organic Cola is the best substitute I found when I crave coke, no corn syrup so it quenches your thirst and it’s straight up carbonated water – no phosphoric acid.

Yes its not only sweet but often very acid too.
Don’t drink pop regularly, like dayly. It will destroy your teeth and make you fat and unhealty and moody from the large fluctuations of bloodsugar. Occasionally is fine, like once a week, with something to eat. Better drinks are: water, sparkling water, water-diluted fruit juice, water with a squeezed slice of lemon, etc.

Pop has lots of sugar. A study indicated that if you keep your teeth dipped in pop, they will melt away. What the hell is the matter with you? Anything sweet has sugar. Stay off it if you have cavities and brush your teeth once in a while.

Absolutely! But its important to realize that its not sugar content that is the main culprit of causing cavities (correct term=caries). The major factor is the ‘stickiness’ of food. For example, two of the worst foods that cause cavities, if the teeth are not cleaned immediately, are toffee and white bread.
