can a panic attack seem like a stroke?

about a year ago i had a so called panic attack..but sometimes i find that hard to believe because my symptoms were so severe.bad headache numbness loss of eye sight and my words couldnt be understood.my lip also dropped as if i were actually having a stroke. i went to the doctor right at that time and she looked into my eyes with some kind of scope and said panic attack.how can these symptoms be so similar?
