polojesse asked:
I have been living with anxiety my whole life it seems. Over the last couple years it has caused me to have muscle tension/pain in my shoulders and now my neck as well. Since April I have headaches/migraines. I stopped working and some days I have to stay on my couch the whole day because of how the pain has gotten. I am getting health insurance next month but I just wanted to know if anyone has had this extreme physical pain from anxiety or is it possibly something else?

Jake D asked:
On 4 occasions I have experienced this intensely. Usually when anxiety is occuring.. with a fast heart rate. Once it happened after I ran up 7 flights of stairs. I do not do any cardiovascular workouts so this is alot for me and causes a very fast heart rate.. When this occurs I can feel my artery by my shoulder pulsating very powerfully, there is also pain/discomfort in this area.. I went to the hospital after this happened the second time and was given a chest xray and a EKG and the results were negative. I am planning on seeing my doctor and having a stress test done with a cardiologist. In the mean time, does anyone have any idea what is causing this?? Thanks.
I am 22 years old..
my arms and legs fall asleep quite often and quite easily.. Poor circulation?? related?

Daniel asked: For a little background, I find myself in a constant worry about being single and remaining single. As such, I decided that this sort of thinking cannot be normal but at the same time, I cannot easily change my thought pattern. I mean I’m 26, male, and getting many things.
So I talked with a therapist who said I have a classic case of anxiety disorder. So my question is what would have caused this? Like what sort of outside factor come into play with people obsessing with being single? Could it be constantly being rejected? Or is it some sort of perception disorder caused by growing up?
Or is there some sort of biological factor to this? Like a sense of urgency to quickly get into a relationship? To be truthful, I have tried to get a date, but have no such success with it. I have tried online, and many times in person, and simply put, no one wants me. So could that be the cause of this? Like the fact that rejection occurred, my perception is that no one wants me, so I constantly worry about it and wonder why? Which then in turn causes anxiety problems?
Please don’t answer with “someone for everyone” or “pray to god” or anything that deals with how to get someone. I’m more interested in hearing facts about singlehood/anxiety rather than “expert opinions” from people who aren’t married, or have been married since a very young age.

Because a couple of weeks ago I have had this horrible anxiety like panic attack and it causes dizziness, nausea, wanting to vomit, headaches and weak feelings inside my body. So what can make me better. I’ve just started taking Rescue Remedy drops every night and I hear that helps.

Bill G asked: I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, ocd, and panic disorder. About that time my bowel movements began to change: Alternating constipation and diarrhea, softer, narrower stools, sometimes mucus. Can this be caused by anxiety? How does anxiety influence bowel movements. Can this by IBS? By the way, I am a 28 year old male. Can Anyone with anxiety problems give me examples of how anxiety, IBS has affected there bowel movements? Thanks

Objective Faith asked: I used to be very shy/insecure/anxious, and I had no idea how to fix it. So, I went to a psychiatrist and she placed me on an anti-pyschotic (what she calls “ego-glue, as it collects the mind). After switching medicines and doses COUNTLESS times, I realized the cause of shyness/insecurity/anxiety.
Shyness/insecurity/anxiety is caused by psychosis – psychosis is the ailment that produces these symptoms.
Basically, to be psychotic is to be mostly mind (identify as mind) with one’s SELF within, masked by the mind. To be normal (correct) is to be mostly self (identify as self) with one’s MIND within, masked by the self.
Now that I’m normal (not psychotic), I have no shyness/insecurity/anxiety. If you have any of these, you are technically psychotic, as it’s not natural to have these symptoms if in a normal state – an anti-psychotic would cure you of all these symptoms.
Observing, I’d say about 1/2 of the world is sane (normal), 1/4 is in between, and 1/4 is psychotic.
Your comments?
The reason one is shy/insecure/anxious is due to having one’s “head in the clouds,” aka being out of touch with reality (psychotic).
