Lapin asked:
I tend to get really anxious about a lot of things and worry a lot. I read that drinking soda and coffee makes it worse so I stopped drinking caffeine. I haven’t felt as anxious since then, but I still get just a little bit. But before. I would get really jittery and my heart would beat fast. I think the worse too. I thought my boyfriends parents were lying to me, and they weren’t and thats caused us loads of problems. SO. Do you think I have an anxiety disorder and what are some non medical ways to treat? Relaxation. Yeah.

I love my wife, but because of her anxiety disorder, she lies and keeps things from me due to irrational fears. She asks me not to take it personally, but we are married. We are supposed to be open and honest with each other. I need to be able to trust her and I just can’t find a way to solve this problem. We’ve tried therapists and medication for years, but she lied to them too. We have two wonderful children and I fear that they will pick up on her anxious response of lying and keeping things hidden. What makes this especially difficult, is that I am very open and honest and the frustration I have with being unable to help her is tremendous. I’m really reaching out to all of you out there. Please give me some thoughtful and caring responses. No one can know how hard it has been living like this……

Curious asked: I have heard a lot about hypnotherapy. Some are true and some may be fictitious. I don’t know which ones are true and which ones are false. I have heard that hypnosis can solve a lot of mental disorder. Can it cure anxiety?
My second question is, can a hypnotist completely take over the personality of his patient? I mean, can a hypnotist turn a peace-loving innocent type of person into a violent and cruel kind of criminal?
